AGRIBUSINESS
AAIG works on wide ranges on agricultural related products and services where technology related subjects and also what ever can affect productivity are topics in high priorities for the Middle East.
Due to many years of being under sanction both the agricultural sector and food production industries have suffered from absence of new modern technology.
After 2016 Iran has opened up several good opportunities for the foreign High-Tech. industries especially Australian companies and suppliers who are generally well known in Iran for their higher technologies, quality services, and products to enter the market in many areas.
Iran calls for modernization and Investment in water management, the need for drought resistant seeds and related technologies are significant.

MINING
A mixture of oil reservoir and mine is whatever you can find as the underground in the Middle East. Iran, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar are the most important countries, which are more active in mining in the Middle East. The mining industry in this area is also facing several challenges which are some of the main factors the Middle East region
severely lacks exploration and resource development investment. Infrastructure and extracting technological advancement from one hand and political unrest and lack of proper governance from another hand make the investor interests fade while there are several underdeveloped resources in this region.
Having different types of significant mineral resources and the government policy to increase non-oil revenues, made Iran as one of the key areas in mining in the Middle East. Iran economic statistics show strong improvement and growth since the removal of International business restrictions from early 2016 in the mining sector due to reopening Iran’s economy to global
business and safe opportunity for investment after ten years. Iran has vast resources of aluminium, steel, bauxite, lead, zinc, and chromite and welcome companies and suppliers which can help increasing the performance and efficiency in the underground, surface, exploration, extraction, transportation and HSE in the sector such as below areas:
Mining Technology and Know-how
High-Resolution Aerial Imagery Technologies

OIL & GAS
After signing Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2015 and subsequently lifting the sanction, the Iranian government has put ambitious targets to raise the Oil & Gas production. On the other hand the size of the Iran’s gas reserves shows undeniable significant potential, boasting the world’s largest proven gas deposits and fourth-largest proven oil reserves.
Immediate foreign investment, utilizing current available resources and infrastructure, increasing the capability increasing mechanism and improving globally interaction with other countries have created tremendous opportunities in both upstream drilling and production and oilfield services, and the maintenance and development of downstream infrastructure.

Marine and shipping industry are among those sectors that significantly suffered from limitation and sanctions for several years in Iran. Align with plans for development, this sector is within government priorities and Iran needs $20 billion of investment in infrastructure projects on yearly basis to develop export capacity and modernize the transport sector including shipping lines, railways and aviation.
In this regard to meet global standard, Iran has re-started collaboration with many countries to standardize the oil tanker
shipping lines and related parts as an aim to strengthen the infrastructure to be able to meet ambitiousness export targets by returning to shipping market and renewal of trade ties with international partners.
There are currently companies from Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Denmark and Italy who are operating actively in Iranian ports, while there are still huge potential for Australian to export their know-how and technologies in the marine section.
FOUNDRY
Despite the availability of low cost energy, row materials and workforces, Iran foundry industry has still trouble with employing new technologies, which has resulted in low productivity and higher cost of production, and the metal casting market is not thrived as it is expected to be. While the industry has grown steadily in last few years still there are rooms to attract new methods and technologies:
- Induction melting furnace
- Heat treatment furnace
- Continuous casting machine
- Dust removal
- Water treatment systems for the casting production lines and furnaces
- Water pumps
- Compressors
- Quantometer
- PLC control system
- Different types of consumables and fluxes
